At the beginning of 2019, the Secretariat and Communications Department (SKA) had decided to improve their internal feedback culture, and had therefore organized a plan for how to integrate it into the department, starting with a test period, and then evaluating what has and has not worked during the test period. The overall purpose of working with feedback for SKA is to create increased well-being and personal development.
SKA contacted Feedwork in connection with the “kick-off” of this initiative and needed Feedwork's help to create increased motivation to enter into feedback dialogues, as well as to develop the level of competence in the form of concrete tools for use during the testing period.
At the kick-off workshop, SKA marked the start of the feedback initiative in the department, created increased awareness and awareness about daily communication, and not least created a good starting point for further work on feedback in the department.
“Danni and Jonas from Feedwork gave my department an energetic and very motivating start to our work to strengthen our shared feedback culture. The workshop gave us the collective “push” that we needed. We received a handful of useful tools and concepts, and specifically we have agreed on which feedback opportunities we will work with jointly in the department and in the individual teams in the next six months. One thing that Danni and Jonas gave me home as a leader was an awareness that I need to be aware of being both clear and concrete in relation to what I would like to give or ask for feedback on. It sounds simple, but is actually not that easy.”
